Krátká Village Monument Reserve
INFORMATION: In Krátká (710 m above sea level) one of the most valuable complexes of folk architecture in the local area has been preserved, which is why the village was declared a village conservation reserve in 1995. The name is also appropriate for its size, as the village measures only 200 m. There are picturesque timbered and brick houses with farm facilities dating from the turn of the 18th and early 19th centuries. The houses have a cross-shaped lomenice, a sub-lomenice and a flat rampart. The most valuable buildings include the former 18th-century fast house with a mansard roof covered with shingles, No 12, and the 19th-century timber-framed house, No 4. The chapel dedicated to St. Cyril and Methodius, standing by the road at the beginning of the village, was built in 1902. The House of Nature of the Žďár Hills No. 2 with an exposition dedicated to the history of the landscape and the development of the local nature is widely visited.
LOCATION. It is one of several local parts of the Sněžné municipality. In the past it belonged to Kadov, since 1992 it has been a part of the municipality of Sněžné.
