Cooperation with Vysočina Film Office in 2026

How can we cooperate?

The system of audiovisual support is unique in Vysočina and therefore we can support various audiovisual projects. The system operates on the basis of concluding cooperation agreements with applicants and then providing the activities that Vysočina Tourism commits to in the agreement (in particular, filming services in Vysočina). The total allocation of funds for this cooperation model for 2026 is CZK 2 500 000. Anyone who meets the requirements below can apply for cooperation.

Terms of cooperation:

I. Submitting an Application for Cooperation 

According to the template for the audiovisual works listed below by 2 March 2026.

Methodology 2026

- intended for distribution in cinemas or for broadcast on television, on the internet or on VOD platforms, with a running time of more than 60 minutes and shot (even partially) in the Vysočina Region

Documentary film

- intended for distribution in cinemas or for broadcast on television, on the Internet or on VOD platforms, which is at least 15 minutes in total length and the filming (even partially) takes place in the Vysočina Region

Student films

- whose shooting will take place in the Vysočina Region for at least two days (min. 16 hours), which is intended for distribution in cinemas, for broadcasting on television, on the Internet, on VOD platforms or for screening at film festivals

Series and miniseries

- intended for distribution in cinemas or for broadcast on television, on the internet or on VOD platforms and filmed (even partially) in the Vysočina Region for three shooting days (min. 24 hours)

Short feature film

- intended for distribution in cinemas or for broadcast on television, on the Internet or on VOD platforms, up to 60 minutes in length, the shooting of which (including the necessary preparations) takes place in the Vysočina Region

Other audiovisual works

- audiovisual works which are related to the Vysočina Region and cannot be typologically classified in the list above

With the submission of the Application for Cooperation, send the mandatory attachment of a presentation in pptx format, in which the planned project will be presented in more detail. The presentation, minimum 10 slides, will include- Synopsis, theme, directorial vision, description of the crew and their experience, cast, subsequent marketing and distribution.

Inquiries can be sent via email to the contacts listed, clearly indicating reference to the specific Project. Personal consultations can also be provided by prior telephone agreement.

II. Decision to conclude cooperation with filmmakers by 31 March 2026.

The decision will be made by the film committee on the basis of the materials sent. The decision on cooperation for 2026 will be announced by Eliska Rodova by email.

III. Conclusion of the Cooperation Agreement 

In which they will undertake to "take over" the part of the services recommended by the commission from Vysočina Tourism, a contributory organisation1 by 30 April 2026.

IV. To fulfil the terms of the Cooperation Agreement by 27 November 2026.

Important dates:

- Send the application, including the mandatory attachments, to the following email address: eliska.rodova@vysocinatourism.cz or by post to Vysočina Tourism no later than 2 March 2026

Tourism, p.o. Ke Skalce 5907/47, 586 01 Jihlava. The application for cooperation must include the mandatory annexes or optional annexes, which may be additional visual and informational materials for the audiovisual work to be produced.

- By 31 March, the Film Office will make a decision on the cooperation for 2026. You will receive the decision on the cooperation electronically to the email address you have provided, including a draft cooperation agreement and the deadline for its conclusion - after this deadline, the proposal for the conclusion of the agreement will no longer be valid.

- The areas of cooperation to which the Film Office commits in 2026 must be completed and paid for by 27 November 2026 at the latest.

Area of cooperation:

The costs (expenses) to which Vysočina Tourism, p.o. may commit itself in accordance with its charter of incorporation, in order to ensure the promotion and presentation of the region on the national or international audiovisual market, are only the costs associated with staying and filming in the Vysočina Region. The maximum amount of the cost is CZK 500 000, excluding VAT, for a performance that can be supplied by a similar range of suppliers.

Examples of eligible costs:

- Rental of a film location in the Highlands

- Accommodation in the Highlands

- Catering in the Highlands

- Provision of camera equipment and camera services during filming in the Highlands

- Provision of sound and sound equipment during filming in the Highlands

- Other according to the Request for Cooperation and in accordance with the decision of Vysočina Tourism

* However, only services and activities that are in accordance with the founding charter (ensuring the promotion and presentation of the Vysočina Region) will always be provided
