vagabond-filmLudmila Cimbůrková and Maja Penčić, FAMU students and budding directors, set off on a month-long journey through Europe to get to know it and make a film about it. And they did it through the lens of their hobby - hitchhiking. The film is produced under the auspices of FAMU.

About VAGABOND

The filmmakers, as performers, open themselves to the world, and by getting into the car, they show trust to the driver (and he to them). The film's psychosocial experiment explores a way of travelling that has always teetered on the edge of adventure and danger. By asking questions of each other, the hitchhikers reveal a lot. Alongside the story of Europe, the film follows the story of two young women who want to explore the world and, through it, themselves. What are they like before the journey, what will they experience and how will the journey change them?
