Vysočina Film Office has opened its doors to filmmakers again!

Vysočina Film Office is the regional film office of the Vysočina Region incorporated in the regional destination company Vysočina Tourism, p.o. and from November 2023 it has opened its doors to filmmakers again!

Before reopening, it was necessary to undergo training from the Czech Film Commission. This organisation operates on a national level and supports film and other audiovisual production in the Czech Republic. The aim of the training was to familiarize with the system of film offices and to give recommendations for the successful operation of a film office.

Vysočina Film Office is one of 12 regional film offices in the Czech Republic. The main task of the film office is to process inquiries and requests from filmmakers and to promote locations. Vysočina Film Office will recommend filmmakers to find suitable locations for filming in Vysočina, arrange contacts with local suppliers and partners, provide information on necessary permits and legislation and deal with other practical matters.

Vysočina Film Office is looking forward to new collaborations and believes that we will see Vysočina on TV screens and in cinemas more and more often!
