The Film Office participated in the FAMUFEST film festival

Every year a multi-genre film festival is held in Prague, organized by students of the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. The aim of this festival is to introduce the public to new talents who will co-create the future of Czech cinema and other media.

Our film office could not miss this festival! We had the opportunity to see the production projects of the Master's degree of the Department of Production at FAMU and to listen to the expert committee that evaluated the individual projects. It was a great opportunity to see current student work and hear the experts' opinions on the projects.

The festival itself had a very friendly atmosphere, and that is exactly what we need for the development of filmmaking. Why are we interested in student projects in Vysočina? We want to support and develop audiovisual in the Highlands, and student films are one of the elements of this process.

We are looking forward to the next edition of the festival and to meeting more promising filmmakers!
