Film office meeting at Litomyšl Fest
Representatives from film offices across the country met once again, this time as part of the Litomyšl Fest film festival, where the Pardubice Region Film Office had put together a varied one-day programme for us.
We were welcomed at the start by the Mayor of Litomyšl, together with the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, who presented their views on filmmaking in the region and shared valuable insights from their collaboration with filmmakers. We were also delighted to receive a personal greeting from the festival organisers, the Trojan family, followed by a very interesting and thought-provoking talk on sustainable filmmaking. Despite a slight delay, we then had a fruitful discussion with the director and crew of the new Czech film *6 Grams* about what both sides need for their collaboration to work ideally.
We also viewed an exhibition of sculptures by Olbram Zoubek in the castle cellars. Following this varied programme, we were able to soak up the festival atmosphere and take part in further discussions and screenings.
Thank you
